The class will cover an assortment of self-defense physical techniques for a variety of situations, such as grabs, shoves, holds, and what happens if the situation ends up on the ground. The statistics for violence and assault can be frightening and frequently women react to these statistics in two ways:
Ignoring: "It won't happen to me because of such and such,"
Overvigilance that affects a women's quality of life.
We look to empower women with the knowledge and skills to put the emotional response in its place and be able to respond to the situation at hand. The blend of verbal, mental and physical self-defense techniques will definitely boost self-confidence. Many women find it impacts their life in more ways than just how they walk through a parking garage.
